The Annual Detroit Youth Summit Conference
The Annual Detroit Youth Summit, produced / moderated / and hosted by Detroit youth as a part of L!FE Leaders Excellence Corps & After School programs, is where youth and leaders meet to build Detroit together. This full-day conference is created for Detroit youth, by Detroit youth. Youth (aka Emerging Adults) get hands-on experience of planning and moderating a 5 star event filled with interactive workshops, panel discussions, breakout rooms, and an Opportunity Fair, meeting directly with prominent civic, business, and community leaders to discuss the city’s growth in education, workforce / community / economic development, mental health and wellness, civic engagement, voter registration, and more. Powered by L!FE Leaders, Inc. and the city of Detroit's community, youth and leaders from across the Metro Detroit area network, brainstorm, and collaborate to bring about positive change in our communities!
