Peer to Peer Workshops
L!FE Consulting, led by L!FE Student Leaders, teach peer-to-peer workshops to other Detroit Youth on public speaking, presentation skills, financial skill sets and the mental attitudes to help them budget for post-education / understand the importance of good credit / and start building the habits now to grow healthy approaches to their finances in the future.

The Annual Detroit Youth Summit Conference is powered by L!FE Leaders, Inc. and the city of Detroit to bring together Youth and Leaders from across the Metro Detroit area to network, brainstorm, and collaborate, with each other to bring about positive change in our communities!

Liv’n’L!FE: Celebrating Generations Of Leaders
A Fundraising Celebration! October 2020 brought Intergenerational Collaboration to the virtual space in Detroit, featuring Emcee Anthony Veneziale from Freestyle Love Supreme, and the Youth of Detroit in a fireside chat with Mayor Mike Duggan and Senator Debbie Stabenow.
L!FE Gala @ Hamilton
L!FE's inaugural gala was held at a performance of Hamilton in Detroit at the Fisher Theatre! Hosted by L!FE Students, Honorary Hosts included Senator Debbie Stabenow, Mayor Mike Duggan, and Hamilton Producer & Detroit Native Jeffrey Seller. The Gala included L!FE Students’ welcoming remarks, premium seats to show, and a talkback with the Cast, led by Hamilton Producer Jeffrey Seller and Director Tommy Kale.
The Instagram Live Series
As a the global pandemic shut the world down, L!FE Leaders were NOT about to let Covid stop their Conversations! Utilizing Instagram Live, L!FE Students hosted a series of interviews with experts who could answer their questions on topics ranging from Covid-19, Equity in Education, and Youth Activism & the Black Lives Matter Movement.
The Thank You Reception
A night to celebrate and salute L!FE's Community Partners! Hosted by San Morello, Shinola Hotel & L!FE Students, the evening’s elegant reception brought the L!FE community together to meet in person and celebrate their commitment to Detroit’s future leaders. The evening culminated in a presentation by L!FE Students of their accomplishments and growth as a special way to thank our Detroit collaborators for their support and vision.
